The Human Rights Platform “DAYANÇ Turkmenistan” Continues the Fight for Human Rights The Human Rights Platform of the civil movement “DAYANÇ Turkmenistan” continues its active and consistent work to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens of Turkmenistan. Despite challenging conditions and limited resources, our team raises urgent and often silenced issues faced by citizens both inside the country and abroad on a daily basis. We document human rights violations, prepare submissions to international organizations, engage with human rights institutions, and keep the public informed about ongoing developments. We place particular focus on the following issues: — the right to freedom of movement and family reunification; — problems with obtaining passports and documents abroad; — cases of transnational repression; — socio-economic challenges faced by citizens of Turkmenistan.
